Refunds

Payments aren't refunded, except where the law where you live says they must be. The 14 free days exist so the decision is made before any money moves, and cancelling stops the next charge.

The 14 free days

A new page starts with 14 days free. Nothing is charged during them, and the first payment only happens when they end. Cancel inside those 14 days and you're never charged at all.

What cancelling does

Cancelling stops the next charge. It doesn't reverse the last one. Your page stays up until the end of the year you've already paid for, and when that runs out the page goes offline. Everything on it is kept for 30 days, so paying again inside that time brings it straight back. After that, the page and everything on it is deleted.

You cancel from the dashboard, through the billing portal, and the date your page stays up until is shown there as well.

If a charge is wrong

Tell hello@hola.page about a charge you weren't expecting, or one that came after you cancelled, and it will be put right. A mistake is a different thing from a change of mind.

Rights you have where you live

Cancel inside the 14 free days and nothing has been paid, wherever you are, the UK and the EU included.

You can withdraw from your contract online at any time. It ends your plan straight away, and you get an email saying when your withdrawal arrived.

Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under the law where you live. If that law gives you a right to cancel later, or to get money back, write to hello@hola.page and it will be honoured.

What you're paying for

One page at your own address, holding your links, your pictures and your email list, for $48 USD a year, which works out at $4 a month. What it costs is on the home page, and the terms cover the rest of it.
